SITUATION

The standing grass is situated at Carlean Farm, Gwithian, Hayle, Cornwall  TR27 5EG which is approximately 3 miles north west of the “Camborne West” junction on the A30 and is about 4 miles north east of Hayle. 

Good access is directly from the main B3301 Hayle to Portreath road, from the Council road which leads from the main B3301 and connecting roads or via the farm yard.

DESCRIPTION

60 acres new seeds standing grass for one cut as a whole or in three lots of 28 acres, 17½ acres and 14½ acres.

New seeds with a Ryegrass mixture planted in Autumn 2023 following a highly fertilised crop of Calabrese, rolled and fertilised with 1 cwt per acre Origin 34.5% N compound fertiliser.

For one cut to be taken by 16th May 2024.

Lot 1 is comprised within four good size level or gently sloping easily worked field enclosures shown edged red on the attached map, Lot 2 is comprised within three good size level or gently sloping easily worked field enclosures shown edged green on the attached map and Lot 3 is comprised within a single good size level or gently sloping easily worked field enclosure shown edged blue on the attached map.

APPLICATION AND TENDER FORM

The highest or any other tender will not necessarily be accepted.

Tenders must be submitted on the attached Tender Form only and additional information may be attached thereto. Prospective tenderees should give the fullest possible details of their proposed tender.

Buyers’ commission at the rate of 5% plus VAT is chargeable on the tender price although no VAT will be charged on the purchase price of the grass itself.

Tenders close on Friday 5th April 2024 at 5.30pm.
