Informal Tender Application

You need to ensure that you read the following carefully before filling out all of the rest of the informal tender application.

Property:
The property is known as: Menerdue Farm, Menerdue Lane, Carnmenellis, Redruth, Cornwall TR16 6PF

Description:
The plan below and schedule of land show the land available for winter sheep keep until Saturday 28th February 2026. Approximately 124.32 acres (50.34ha) is available from 1st January 2026 on a grazing licence which will commence upon receipt of the licence fee and signed licence.

The licence is for grazing sheep only with no mowing or cuts permitted.

It is the responsibility of the grazier to check stock daily and fence individual fields to stop deterioration of hedgerows. The grazier must supply the Council with at least two telephone numbers of who to contact if there are any issues. No waste shall be left at the end of the licence period.

Viewing:
External viewing, on foot only, at any time, during reasonable daylight hours. Please take a copy of these particulars with you and please leave all gates as you find them.

Tender:
Cornwall Council is inviting offers for a Licence for winter sheep keep until Saturday 28th February 2026. The successful tenderer will be required to enter into a Licence with Cornwall Council and access will be available from when the licence is signed and licence payment is made.
