Full Details

The Property
One of a terrace of five homes dating from the 1850’s and formerly homes for the coast, this has to be one of most enviable locations within Cornwall.

The property consists of a lounge with open fireplace, kitchen with granite paved flooring, three bedrooms and bathroom. The home is already uPVC double glazed but a new owner will have the opportunity to upgrade the kitchen and bathroom to their choice.

To the immediate rear is a generous sheltered and enclosed courtyard with small store and outside wc. Beyond this is a small level garden.

Whilst in recent years used for letting, the property has clear potential to become a full time home or could be used for letting again.

Location
This is an amazing location just above breathtaking cliffs and fringing the village of Pendeen. With a long, deep history inextricably linked to both mining and maritime of the 18th and 19th century, the village is today quieter and relaxed, albeit there is a busy village store. This central location within West Cornwall means that the wide and varied amenities of Penzance are close to hand providing schooling, shopping, commercial and health facilities including a hospital. Many of the Peninsula’s well-known beauty spots and attractions are easily accessible including the Iron Age village of Chysauster, the iconic engine house ruins of Botallack, the artist mecca of the south-west, Lamorna and of course the UK’s westernmost extremity at Land’s End. The famed fishing port and home to many of the country’s most well-known artists and sculptors of St Ives on the north coast is 11 miles away, whilst the A30 at Penzance is 7 miles away, ideal for commuting to the larger towns of Camborne, Redruth and Truro, all of which are within a 1 mile drive.
