The two Lots are located at Penhale Farm, Fraddon, St Columb, Cornwall TR9 6NA, as shown on the attached Field and Location Plans.
The attached field plan shows the acreage of the respective Lots, extending in all to approximately 58.79 acres (23.791 ha) of permanent pasture.
Both Lots 1 & 2 will be available for mowing for a maximum of 2 cuts of hay and/or silage from the Commencement Date of Wednesday 1st June 2022, through to the Vacation Date of Wednesday 31st August 2022.
We are advised that no fertiliser has been applied.
Environmental Stewardship / Countryside Stewardship:
The land is NOT within any Environmental Stewardship or Countryside Stewardship Schemes.
Basic Payment Scheme:
The Licence(s) for Mowing is/are on the basis that the Licensor will submit their own claim under the Basic Payment Scheme.
For the sake of complete clarity, the Licensee will not be entitled to any payment under the Basic Payment Scheme and will indemnify the owner for any breaches that may result in deductions to payments under the Scheme due to his actions.
Both Lots enjoy good access, either direct from the Council highway, or via private lanes. Please leave gates as you find them and take due care when viewing.
Application and Tender Form:
The highest or any other tender will not necessarily be accepted, entirely at the Licensors’ discretion.
Tenders must be submitted to the Agents using the attached tender form only.
Deadline for Tenders: – Friday 27th May 2022 @ 12:00 Noon
Each Lot will be subject to a Licence for Mowing with payment for the full Term due in full, in advance, plus Agent’s Commission of 5% + VAT.
The Term for Lot 1 will be from 1st June to 31st August 2022.
The Term for Lot 2 will be from 1st June to 31st August 2022.
The Licensee will insure his own crops and carry adequate third-party liability insurance.
Viewing may take place at any reasonable time.
