SITUATION

The land is approached off a Council maintained road leading between St. Just and Sancreed, situated to the north-east of Dowran Common. The land is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and part of the land is within a County Wildlife Site. The nearest town is St. Just with a wide range of local facilities and amenities.

THE LAND

There is a recessed gateway off the road with short section of hard surfaced track into the field. The land is down to pasture and probably originally formed part of Leswidden Common and Leswidden China Clay Works. The field is bounded by hedges with stock proof boundary fencing. The field extends in total area to 10 acres or thereabouts. Just inside the gateway is a small livestock loading coral (25' x 20'). Former China Clay Works inc. four large settling tanks, drying pans/ovens and chimney stack. Concrete block built 6 Tie Cows House (21' x 14'), dilapidated corrugated sheeted roof. The land is considered suitable for grazing livestock, hobby farming, equestrian use etc.
